Gold Coast Innovation Hub welcomes the first cohort of youngest entrepreneurs!

The Gold Coast Innovation Hub is thrilled to welcome the inaugural cohort of young innovators into the Student Startup Landing Pad.

These high school students will receive a tailored action plan, mentoring and support for the rest of term 1 from the team at Startup Apprentice as well as access their own dedicated work zone and the awesome facilities that all innovators enjoy at the Gold Coast Innovation Hub.

The 6 students are working across 2 projects – a revolutionary new approach to urban planning and software that cuts down the time taken to find and reference citations for students and researchers.

Over the following weeks the first cohort will have open access to the student landing pad zone and dedicated mentoring sessions each Wednesday to work on their projects. The topics will range from legal requirements to website development to cashflow forecasts, students are welcomed to bring their parents to participate and learn more about the startup world and innovation.

The Student Startup Landing pad will welcome 4 cohorts of students across the 4 school terms in 2019. It is an incredible opportunity for High School and Tertiary Students to access the Gold Coast Innovation Hub workspace as well as thousands of dollars worth of support, mentoring and connections for FREE in a fantastic collaboration between Little Tokyo Two, Startup Apprentice with co-funding from Study Gold Coast’s Vision 2020fund.
