Everyone’s favourite Startup Event is back on the Gold Coast from from 14th-16th May and we are looking for great ideas and great people to join us in what we hope will be the biggest and best event to date!
For those that have never been to a Startup Weekend before, these events are open to EVERYONE! Young or old, with business experience, life experience or no experience at all. All you need is an idea or a willingness to help someone else with their idea.
On the Friday night, people with ideas to share have 60 seconds to pitch their concept. We then vote on the top ideas and form teams around them. For the next 54 hours your team will be supported by business mentors, industry experts and get loads of freebies from event partners like Google and AWS to get your business off the ground. On the Sunday night, each team presents their idea ‘shark tank style’ to a panel of business investors and leaders.
