A bit about the presenter:

Brian has been involved in the innovation sector for over 25 years across Australia, Asia, Africa and the Pacific. He founded Impact Innovation Group in 2006 which has grown to a 20 person team providing innovation, commercialisation and collaboration services for large multinationals, SME’s, startups, Not For Profit’s, universities, incubators and accelerators, and government agencies. The company helps clients across all sectors navigate the complexity of turning ideas into valuable products and services and runs the Innovate Queensland and Female Founders skills and collaboration programs.

He has formed 4 startups raising between $400k and $2m as seed rounds, has headed up a further 6 startups and sits on a number of industry and commercial boards. Brian is regularly engaged by the Department of Innovation to present on grant programs and has extensive experience as an assessor on grants and tenders.
