What a year it has been for our female-founder event series. Each event has been larger than the one preceding, and we expect that trend to continue for the November 11 Brunch Like A Boss. Our last Brunch event of the year, this will take place in an ocean view room at Southern Cross University!

Lauren Hall is the powerhouse Founder and CEO of iVvy, a globally scaling SaaS company revolutionising event technology. With over 30 years of executive and board-level experience, Lauren has led iVvy from the Gold Coast to six continents, securing over $30 million in capital and transforming how venues manage events in real time. She’s a fierce advocate for women in tech and business, recognised with numerous awards including the EY Winning Woman of the Year (APAC) and Gold Coast Businesswoman of the Year. A black belt and former world championship competitor, Lauren brings the same discipline and passion to entrepreneurship. With over 25 years’ global experience spanning Qantas, EY, British Telecom, and private equity, Amelia brings deep expertise in finance, transformation, and operations across four continents. Beyond the boardroom, Amelia is a champion of mentoring, diversity, equity and inclusion, and currently serves in advisory roles at Griffith University, LifeFlight Australia, and the Gold Coast Nature-Based Tourism program. What to Expect:

About Dave Gougé

Dave Gougé is a skilled business and marketing strategist working at the intersection of emerging technology, entertainment, and global growth. He leads a global consulting practice advising companies looking to pivot, scale, or innovate, and works closely with organisations in visual effects, AI, and digital storytelling. Dave serves on the Board of the Visual Effects Society and is a Beachhead Advisor for the New Zealand government’s Trade & Enterprise agency, helping tech-forward businesses expand globally.

As former Head of Marketing & Publicity at Wētā FX for thirteen years, he shaped the global reputation of one of the most awarded VFX studios, helping to drive over 60 artistic and technical wins including Oscars, BAFTAs, Emmys, and 12 Academy SciTech Awards. He also led brand and positioning strategies that contributed to Wētā’s $USD1.6B acquisition by Unity Technologies.

Dave is a trusted speaker and moderator known for navigating complex industry conversations – from AI’s role in creativity to leadership in tech culture.

Speaker #1: Media and PR Expert, Oryana Angel.

Oryana Angel is a respected journalist and communications professional with more than 15 years’ experience across newspapers, magazines and television, and a further decade in public relations. She developed her expertise in storytelling and media strategy through editorial roles at The Australian, The Daily Telegraph, Qantas Magazine and Australian Geographic.

Before relocating to the Gold Coast eight years ago, Oryana co-founded the national agency In The Media PR, where she helped hundreds of organisations elevate their profiles and secure impactful media coverage. The agency has worked with clients across lifestyle, travel and business sectors, including Airtasker, Uber, the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation and OzHarvest, with teams in Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast.

Locally, her clients include Experience Gold Coast, Cooly Rocks On, SWELL Sculpture Festival, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, MooGoo and the Gold Coast City Council.

Today, Oryana leads a talented team delivering exceptional outcomes for clients and ensuring their voices cut through the noise.

Speaker #2: Leadership trainer and mentor, Jenny Moutou

Jenny Moutou is a highly respected coach, author and speaker, who has walked the road less travelled. With over 20 years of coaching experience, Jenny’s passion for helping people build belief and get more out of life, ignited her curiosity and interest in human potential and performance, psychology and high-performance cultures.

Her curiosity and life experiences led her to creating the Map of Potential. Jenny uses the map to teach others how to see, feel, and connect to when they are living their potential and when they are not, on a moment-to-moment basis, so they can live more consciously everyday.

Her business, She Leadership, helps women from all walks of life, step into their leadership and live with confidence, no matter what they have been through, so they can create the visions of success they dreamed of.

Jenny lives on the Gold Coast where she is actively building a community of women in business.
