Rob is a former journalist-turned-educator specialising in smartphone photography (particularly underwater) and mobile journalism. Rob wrote, designed and produced a textbook for Palgrave Macmillan called Editing and News Design: How to Shape the News in Print and Online Journalism. The book was required reading at universities throughout Australia, as well as the United Kingdom, South Africa and the Asia Pacific.
