What’s new this year?
Our Lunch and Learn event is being replaced with a bi-monthly, round table Founder Lunch where you will enjoy a meal, network with other startup teams, and hear from a successful founder about their journey – the highs, the lows, and what they wish they had of known when they were first launching their business.
We are doubling down on Done Day! Twice a month you can now supercharge your productivity as we help you prioritise your to-do list and smash out tasks in structured 40 and 20 minute work sprints. We are also adding a theme to each session, and supporting them with a subject matter expert from our massive mentor pool who will be on hand to help when you get stuck on a task – you wont believe how much you can get done in one distraction-free, completely focused day.
What else is happening?
Our Sell Out Brunch Like a Boss female founder events will continue to run on a bi-monthly basis, with our first one taking place on Valentines Day (book your ticket here). We decided to take on the theme of love with our guest speaker sharing her experience in creating a revolutionary new dating app. Then, the Queensland Government will be showing our Female Founders some love by sharing the details of the newly launched Advance Queensland Female Founder programs.
GC Hub toastmasters in on every Wednesday lunchtime for those wanting to brush up on their pitching, public speaking, and leadership skills – we will be celebrating our 200th meeting next month!
Gold Coast Angels will be holding their bi-monthly investment evenings starting from the 8th February – new investors are welcome, contact admin@gcangels.com.au for more information.
And of course our networking drinks are on the last Thursday of every month for members, mentors, partners, and broader community to connect and converse over a drink or two on us!
We also have a few ‘feature’ events running this year, which will be announced over the next few weeks and include some pretty awesome national and international partnerships – we can’t wait to share more!
