The Henchman was abuzz with energy on Valentine’s Day as over 60 female business owners and entrepreneurs came together to celebrate the first Brunch Like a Boss event for 2023. It was an inspiring morning that highlighted the power of coming together and supporting each other’s goals.
At 10am a special guest presentation from Advance Queensland marked the official launch of the groundbreaking Backing Female Founders Co-Investment Fund pilot, which provides matched non-dilutable funding for women raising investments.
We also heard Melissa Gerritsen, Founder of Vybity & The Soul Hotline, share her incredible journey from behavioural scientist to successful app developer. She spoke about the new method she has developed to connect with potential partners online in a supportive and meaningful way.
