Thank you to everyone that made it along to our pre-launch event on Thursday at the QT Hotel in Surfers Paradise.
150 local investors, innovators, businesses, government representatives, hackers and hustlers packed the venue as we called on the startup and innovation community to get excited and get involved with the GCHub and outlined our vision to act as a unifier for the existing Gold Coast innovation ecosystem and to drive commercial outcomes for Gold Coast startups and businesses through accelerator programs, education, matched investment and support in navigating government grants and international export programs.
Recognising the geographic diversity of the Gold Coast, the GCHub will be supporting a network of outreach locations, syndicating programs and events in key Gold Coast locations – Coomera in the north, Coolangatta in the South, Mudgeeraba in the Hinterland and Burleigh on the coast.
