Gold Coast Innovation Hub (GC Hub), the Gold Coast’s largest community of startup and small business founders have unveiled their brand new website. The website was created in partnership with Yakk Digital, specialist suppliers of websites that are designed to stand out from the herd.
GC Hub’s CEO, Sharon Hunneybell, said that Yakk Digital have been long-time supporters and mentors within the Gold Coast startup and innovation community and were a fantastic collaborator on this project.
“We wanted to work with an agency who could help us create something fresh and exciting that would reflect the vibrancy of our region and our emerging strengths as a digital import and export hub,” she added. “We also wanted to let some of the talent within our member community shine through, and Yakk were happy to work with Tasia Koimtzidis, UX designer on the functionality and flow of the site.”
Broden Johnson, CEO and Founder of Yakk said that the digital marketing agency has grown significantly over the past 2 years. Supporting new startups and SME’s through sharing knowledge and expertise is an important part of their company culture.
“As a founder, I know how hard it can be to find the help you need when you are just starting out. I’ve always had help from mentors throughout my journey, so I really value giving back any way I can to up and coming companies and startups. I believe that if every business that has achieved some success were prepared to give a little back to help the next generation, we can create a stronger foundation for all businesses with global ambition to launch and grow from our city.”
Under the collaboration, Yakk will also be providing GC Hub members with support and advice around website optimisation, SEO, and marketing strategies.
