The ‘good coast’ is a short film festival for Gold Coast locals to share the people, initiatives and organisations that contribute to Gold Coast culture in progressive and positive ways.
We are looking for local short 1 to 3 min film submissions from Coomera to Cabarita that relate to Gold Coast culture, environment and community.
Do you know people that are active participants in their community? Preserving the natural areas on the Coast? Providing clean water, food or other necessities locally? Trying to solve a problem? What do you see that inspires or shapes change? Think less rubbish, healthier ideologies and greater community participation.
We want to find, reveal and connect the people who make the Gold Coast beautiful through the eyes of locals.
Selected films will be added to the ‘good coast’ website and voted by the public and the SOMOS panel team.

Winners will be screened at the ‘good coast’ film festival night – First Prize is $1000!

Cost: Entry is free for both film submissions and festival event for everyone
