MEDIA RELEASE: Superdraft moves into next phase of growth at the Gold Coast Innovation Hub

Robina, QLD – The Gold Coast Innovation Hub today announced that they will be welcoming Superdraft, one of Australia’s fastest growing and most innovative architecture firms to the workspace next month.

Superdraft will join Gold Coast software icon ‘Opmantek’ (one of the fastest growing software companies in the world) as a growth tenant in the innovation space that is now home to over 70 businesses, including a number of emerging Proptech companies including RealAR that recently featured Money Channel’s ‘River Pitch’, SmartConsult and Funky Little Shack.

Superdraft Director and COO Mark Deacon said the Gold Coast Innovation Hub with its broad partner networks and co-located investment arm, 42 Ventures, was an ideal space for the company to base themselves as they complete their Series A funding round and continue their expansion.

“We are very excited to be joining The Hub. We believe in the collaboration that the Hub is driving and we know the networks will benefit us.  We also know that one of the key contributions entrepreneurial businesses can make to the collaboration is to be part of it and to locate themselves there. We are thrilled to support this initiative by taking some space at the Hub HQ in Robina.”

Gold Coast Innovation Hub CEO, Sharon Hunneybell said that there was now an excellent mix of startups, early stage and high growth businesses working from and taking part in programs run from the work and event space that opened in Robina late last year.

“The Gold Coast Innovation Hub is more than just a workspace, it’s a collaboration that is dedicated to helping innovative businesses grow and succeed.  Recent achievements such as the launch of the Federal Government Funded Advisory Board program for scale up companies and the establishment of our investment arm, 42 Ventures has seen some exceptionally high calibre local, national and international companies coming to the space, creating a rich and vibrant mix of talent and knowledge”.

The Innovation Hub is soon to reach capacity with many office types sold out but there are still spaces available, companies looking to join the community and leverage support to grow their business from the Gold Coast should contact member growth manager, Sam Coen – grow@gchub.com.au.
