The Student Hub in Southport is a Study Gold Coast initiative that provides a welcoming space that is freely available for students to visit, share and connect with their friends and colleagues. Here are a few of the upcoming events that form part of the Celebration of Entrepreneurship this October.
5 SPEAKERS, 4 QUESTIONS
This is a fantastic opportunity to see and hear from a panel of four successful local Gold Coast Entrepreneurs at the Gold Coast Student Hub.
What insights have you wanted to learn from an Entrepreneur? Well, you now have your chance to ask. Pose a question to the panel by submitting the question with your registration form.
STUDENT AND BUSINESS NETWORKING EVENING
This event is a part of the Somerset Celebration of Entrepreneurship. An amazing opportunity for budding entrepreneurs to network with some well-established Gold Coast Entrepreneurs, in a social setting. We have a consulting group on hand to guide students through the etiquette of networking.
Businesses are encouraged to register and take part in assisting students in learning this key skill – you may pick up some additional tips!
TEACHER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
A fantastic opportunity for teachers to attend a workshop focusing on embedding Entrepreneurship into the school curriculum.
This event will be held at the Coomera Community Centre and hosted by Navdeep Pasricha from iYouth. Facilitation will be provided by Teachers from Somerset College and Trinity Lutheran College. The teachers will also be sharing some of the learnings from two schools, who have successfully embedded entrepreneurship into their curriculum.
