The Startup Marketing Toolkit
20190212

“You don’t know what you don’t know.”

Marketing is a core element to startups. In early stages of development, startups may use marketing to reach a wide audience for customer discovery and validate assumptions. Later in the journey, marketing helps find and convert customers and expand reach to new audiences. Ultimately, marketing helps drive customers which drives revenue.

Most early stage startup founders suffer FOMO and indigestion of information. There are too many pieces of content about growth and no one stop location that ties the tools together.

Join us for a 1 hour crash course covering:

  • Customer vallidation
  • Building new audiences
  • Converting interested customers
  • Content marketing
  • Analytics
  • A/B Testing

This session is FREE for GC Hub members.

WHY PODCAST?

The future is audio and voice: Gary Vaynerchuk The Gary V Audio Experience on iTunes

Because a lot of people are listening — and listening a lot.

The growth & rapid adoption of smart phones enables a user to listen to what they want, when they want and how they want.

Podcasts are the new radio; however, you don’t have to wait for a segment to listen to or wait for a specific segment you’re interested in. These days there are apps like Apple, Stitcher, SoundCloud, Podcasts, Spotify, Media8 and Spreaker that allow anyone with a smart phone to listen to their favorite podcasts.

YouTube is great for online marketing — but it’s not conducive to consuming on the go — while running, exercising, driving, etc.

Podcasts are portable — and because of their portability, they’re more personal.

Consider starting a podcast of your own, remembering that it will allow you to grow in ways you never imagined.

It will grow your email list, your audience, your influence and your bank account.

Bots and Conversational UI are the next UI revolution
20190131

Join us for the first IT Forum Gold Coast event of 2019 with Adam Stephensen from Microsoft!

Bots & Conversational UI are the new UI frontier. Siri, Google Assistant and Alexa started the trend, but no-UI is the future of UI. Users are going to expect to be able to have conversations with companies and organisations in the client that they have on hand. Don’t believe me? Gartner predicts that by 2020 30% of HTTP requests will be via bots.

In this session, you will explore how the Microsoft Bot Framework makes it easy to build and connect intelligent bots to interact with users and services. Take your existing applications, your FAQ or a great new idea you have and build a bot that will run from your website or from Cortana, Skype, a phone call, text message, Teams, Slack, Facebook Messenger and more.

If you missed the mobile revolution – why not lead in the bot wars?

About Adam:
